              On opening the CBT along with a jubilating music this page would open.  All that you have to do is just click the enter button that would take you to the license agreement page if you click I AGREE button you would see the home page.

Home Page

           The home page has the menus such as About Us, Demo, Practical and Example.   For a beginner we suggest to go first the example button to have an idea about the molecular weight of some common microbes’, plants’ and animals’ proteins.  Then you can visualize Demonstrations and Animation through Demo button.  Then you would be conversant with the SDS-PAGE practical.  For the exact quantity of reagents to be mixed which is the most important part of the Practical you can make use of the tables which would guide you in doing the practical at a great accuracy.

Step 1: Demo

             The demonstrations are given in audio and video mode to explain the practical in step by step so as to facilitate the doer to easily understand them well.   Along side the AV you would see the text button, which would educate you in all the precautionary measures while doing the practical.

Animation

          The over all principle and mechanism of the practical is also summarized in the animated form of Audio and Video clip at the end of demonstrations.  The animation explains well about the role of SDS and the molecular weight of the polypeptides in the separation and analysis of the proteins.
